Our strategy is to become an environmentally friendly and sustainable company by adopting and integrating Social, Environmental and Economic developments that will minimize the environmental impacts of mining activities. These mean less water and energy consumption, minimizing land degradation and waste production, preventing air, water and soil pollution at mine sites, and carrying out successful mine reclamation and rehabilitation activities. This will help ensure that the mining project has the capacity to drive continuous environmental and socio-economic improvements, from exploration to exploitation and rehabilitation.
The ecological system around a mine requires strong management to both avoid a negative impact on the company and protect the environment.

To be environmentally sustainable; CVK Madencilik operations are increasingly conducted in a way that minimizes their negative impact on the environment and focuses on leaving mining sites in a condition acceptable for reuse by humans or ecosystems. Our improvement plans to be used after the mine site is closed are designed while the mine is still in the project phase.
Social responsibility is a core component of our business and each of our mines has a commitment to its own region. We especially support projects that benefit the local people.
In all the regions where we operate, in addition to the employment we provide, we invest in various community initiatives and social development programs. In particular, we help build and operate schools, healthcare facilities, roads, infrastructure and water supply systems.
