Hayri Ögelman Harmancık Chrome Enterprise, one of the first private sector mining enterprises of our country, was established in 1955 as Hayri Ögelman Limited Company, renamed Hayri Ögelman Madencilik Limited Company in 1959, and changed its name to Hayri Ögelman Madencilik A.Ş. in 2012.
Hayri Ögelman Madencilik A.Ş., which has been operating in the field of chrome mining since its establishment in 1955, has a total of 10 mining sites with operating licenses, mostly in the Bursa region. Of these, the chrome-magnesite in the Bursa-Harmancık region and the others are chrome fields.
In 2020, 86.21% of the shares of Hayri Ögelman Madencilik A.Ş. and the remaining 10% of its shares in 2022 were acquired by CVK Maden İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and became a 96,21% subsidiary.
Hayri Ögelman Madencilik A.Ş. produces lump and concentrated chrome ore and magnesite ore on the mining licenses it owns and exports a significant portion of it, and continues its exploration and survey activities in the license areas with high potential for business development.
The Company, which was established entirely with domestic capital, carries out its activities with the aim of utilizing the underground resources of our country in the most accurate way and with a sustainable mining approach in harmony with the environment it has developed. The Company increases the impact and scale of its activities by utilizing modern engineering practices and the opportunities offered by technology and produces high quality chrome and magnesite ores.
