Valentis Group – Supplier Code of Conduct

Introduction

Valentis Group is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and responsibility. We expect the same commitment from our suppliers, partners, contractors, and service providers.

This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum ethical and legal standards that must be upheld by all parties working with or on behalf of Valentis Group.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including but not limited to:

  • Labor laws
  • Anti-bribery and corruption regulations
  • Environmental and safety regulations
  • Product quality and traceability laws
  • Import/export controls

2. Human Rights and Labor Standards

Suppliers are expected to:

  • Prohibit all forms of forced or child labor
  • Provide fair wages and working conditions
  • Respect freedom of association and collective bargaining
  • Avoid discrimination or harassment of any kind
  • Ensure safe, hygienic, and non-exploitative work environments

3. Ethical Business Practices

Suppliers must not engage in:

  • Corruption, bribery, or kickbacks
  • Fraudulent documentation
  • Unfair competition or manipulation
  • Conflicts of interest affecting business integrity

All transactions must be transparent and properly recorded.

4. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers should:

  • Minimize their environmental footprint
  • Comply with applicable environmental laws
  • Promote sustainable sourcing and waste management practices

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Suppliers must protect confidential information and personal data related to Valentis, its customers, employees, and business partners, and must comply with relevant privacy laws.

6. Monitoring and Compliance

Valentis reserves the right to:

  • Request information, certifications, or documentation
  • Conduct audits or assessments (directly or via third parties)
  • Terminate contracts in case of material breach of this Code

7. Reporting Violations

Suppliers must report any known or suspected violations of this Code to Valentis Group immediately.
We encourage open communication and will handle all reports discreetly and without retaliation.
